Chair Massage
Chair or seated massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension without having to travel. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. Or, if space or mobility is a consideration I can often perform the massage in a chair already on location. On-Site massage is a great option for the workplace, special events, conventions, retirement communities and more. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated or chair massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
Every massage therapy appointment is customized to the goals and needs of every client at the time of each session. I use a variety of techniques to address the needs of my clients including myofacial release, range of motion, and deep tissue. Time is allowed between appointments for each client to receive a therapeutic, unhurried massage therapy treatment.
Rates for On-Site Massage
I offer On-Site Chair Massage at $50/hour starting at a 2 hour minimum and up to 5 hours in length (If needed, partial hours can be calculated and billed beyond the 2 hour minimum):
2 hours = $100
3 hours = $150
4 hours = $200
5 hours = $250
I schedule the appointments for Chair or Seated Massage at intervals of 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, or 25 minute massages with 5 minutes scheduled between each client to allow for proper sanitizing and to help the appointment be relaxed and unhurried. For example, 15 minute appointments would allow for 3 clients per hour with the 5 minutes allowed between each client. Self-Help Products
I offer a number of lubricants and self-help products for my clients to purchase including Topricin products, products from BioResource Inc., Rocktape Kinesiology Tape, and TriggerPoint products such as the ChargeVibe.
